Dallas Cowboys receiver Lucky Whitehead was arrested back in June for shoplifting, and after a failed court appearance a warrant has been issues for his arrest, per TMZ.
“The 25-year-old was busted in Prince William County, VA on June 22 for shoplifting/petit larceny under $200. We’re told Whitehead allegedly took stuff from a convenience store.”
Whitehead was supposed to be in court on June 6, but as TMZ reports, court records show he failed to appear.
The Cowboys are “aware” of this arrest and charge.

Whitehead was signed to a three-year deal in 2015 worth $1.5 million. He was primarily a special teams player for the ‘Boys last season, returning kicks and punts for a total of 719 yards.
It’s somewhat ironic that Whitehead was arrested for stealing from a convenience store. After all, he recently was incensed when his dog was kidnapped and held for ransom.
