On Thursday, TMZ reported that McGregor has been accused of “violently” assaulting a woman inside a bathroom after the NBA Finals game inside the Kaseya Center in Florida. In a demand letter from the victim’s attorney Ariel Mitchell, NBA and Heat security allegedly led the woman to a restroom where McGregor and his security guard were waiting.

The letter claims security would not let the woman exit the restroom before Conor McGregor allegedly emerged from a handicapped stall and “shoved his tongue in the victim’s mouth and aggressively kissed her.”

The woman claims she elbowed McGregor several times before getting enough space to escape the restroom. After leaving the venue she eventually reported the incident to local authorities. Mitchell says in the letters that his client is seeking settlements with the NBA, the Heat, and Conor McGregor ahead of potential litigation.

Representatives for the 34-year-old said the “allegations are false” in a statement to the outlet.

When asked about the story, NBA spokesman Mike Bass told Sports Illustrated’s Chris Mannix, “We are aware of the allegations and are working with the team to gather more information.”

“Notorious” is expected to make his long-awaited return to the Octagon against fellow TUF coach Michael Chandler at some point later this year. He has been accused of assault on several occasions since his rise to fame with the UFC.
