First, there was Archie Manning, then his son Peyton came along before Eli kept the family legacy going. Had it not been for a spinal stenosis diagnosis, Cooper Manning might have become a legend too. But now his son Arch Manning plays quarterback for the Texas Longhorns.

Arch, a five-star recruit out of New Orleans, enters the season vying for a backup role behind starting QB Quinn Ewers. But he’s still a freshman, so there’s plenty of time to make an impression.

Previously Archie noted that he didn’t want his grandson accepting any endorsements or Name, Image, and Likeness (NIL) contracts until he earned the starting job. That stance must have softened.

Arch Manning has now signed his first NIL deal, coming with Panini America, the most popular licensed sports collectible company in the world. Except, this NIL agreement is a bit different than most.

Since there is so much fanfare surrounding the latest Manning, Panini will be auctioning off his first officially licensed football card, with the proceeds going to charity. The actual terms of the multi-year agreement have not been revealed.

Those interested in bidding on the 1-of-1 Arch Manning autographed football card can place their bids on the Panini America website.

While it may be a while before we see what Manning can do on the field at the college level, it’s hard not to be intrigued by the potential he offers simply because he has had an incredible group of elders to learn from.

Still just 18 years old, the 6-foot-4 quarterback stays out of the limelight, but once he takes the field, all eyes will be on No. 16.
