Colin Kaepernick lauds Eric Reid, Kenny Stills and Albert Wilson for continuing to ‘fight for the people’ despite death threats

The NFL decided to move on without Colin Kaepernick, who was the first to protest police brutality and racial inequality in America back in 2016.

Yet his legacy remains. A few players — former San Francisco 49ers teammate Eric Reid, along with Miami Dolphins receivers Kenny Stills and Albert Wilson II — continue to knee during the national anthem.

Recently, Stills also made headlines for calling out Dolphins owner Stephen Ross over his financial support of President Donald Trump. He then revealed that he received death threats for speaking out.

On Sunday, Kaepernick praised Stills, Reid, and Wilson, for their continued efforts to “fight for the people, even in the face of death threats.”

Kaepernick has also shared in the past that he has received death threats for starting the silent protest movement.
