Cincinnati Bengals sign Mike Daniels to one-year deal

The Cincinnati Bengals have agreed to re-sign veteran defensive lineman Mike Daniels to a one-year deal worth up to $2.5 million, according to a report from NFL Network on Tuesday night.

Daniels, 31, is a nine-year NFL veteran who earned a Pro Bowl selection in 2017 with the Green Bay Packers. He spent last year with the Bengals, notching 17 tackles in 11 starts.

The Packers selected Daniels in the fourth round (No. 132 overall) out of Iowa in 2012. He played seven years with Green Bay before joining the Detroit Lions in 2019 and the Bengals in 2020.

In 122 career games (85 starts), Daniels has 30 sacks, two forced fumbles and three fumble recoveries. He has 252 tackles.
