Chicago White Sox sign Kendall Graveman to three-year, $24 million deal

The Chicago White Sox added free-agent right-hander Kendall Graveman on a three-year deal Tuesday for approximately $24 million, MLB Network reported.

Graveman, 30, will add another right-handed arm to a White Sox bullpen that also includes All-Star right-handers Craig Kimbrel and Liam Hendricks.

In 53 appearances with the Seattle Mariners and Houston Astros last season, Graveman was 5-1 with 10 saves and a 1.77 ERA. In seven seasons with the Toronto Blue Jays (2014), Oakland Athletics (2015-18), Seattle Mariners (2020-21) and Astros, he is 29-33 with a 4.15 ERA in 147 appearances (80 starts).

Graveman has been used primarily as a reliever since undergoing Tommy John surgery in 2018 and missing the 2019 season.
