A Chicago brewery, Goose Island Beer Co., is offering fans a chance to prove that it’s not all that hard to kick a 43-yard field goal, which of course is the length of the kick double-boinked by Cody Parkey of the Chicago Bears in Sunday night’s wild-card game.
The brewery took to Twitter on Monday to announce it is going to “build a dang field goal post in the middle of the street outside our brewery, and all you pro athletes can come out and prove us wrong.”
Fans that can hit the field goal will “win beer for a year and eternal glory.”
The brewery also went on to correctly point out that the field goal actually was tipped — something the NFL made official on Monday after video evidence surfaced following Sunday night’s game.
