Cardinals could still keep Josh Rosen after drafting Kyler Murray

The Arizona Cardinals selected Kyler Murray with the first pick of the 2019 NFL Draft. But that doesn’t automatically mean that Josh Rosen is on the move.

Adam Schefter of ESPN reported that the New York Giants, Miami Dolphins, and Los Angeles Chargers are all interested in Rosen, but only as a Plan B. If none of them give the Cardinals what they want, they’re willing to keep Rosen.

With Rosen still on his rookie deal, keeping him is a viable option for Arizona. If the Cardinals aren’t getting the offers they want, it only makes sense for them to keep him. It’s very possible that something could happen during training camp or in the preseason that bolsters Rosen’s stock.

Rosen struggled in his rookie season. He completed 55.2% of his passes 2,278 with 11 touchdowns, 14 interceptions, and a 66.7 rating.
