Washington Capitals All-Star forward Tom Wilson and defenseman Rasmus Sandin are dealing with upper-body injuries and are listed as day-to-day.

Wilson took a stick to the face in Sunday’s 4-3 win over the visiting Los Angeles Kings but returned after dealing with a bloody nose. Sandin missed the game with an illness.

Star captain Alex Ovechkin did not practice Tuesday due to maintenance.

Capitals coach Spencer Carbery told reporters Tuesday that he feels Wilson will be back at practice Wednesday.

Wilson, who has 11 goals and 19 points in 38 games this season, was named an All-Star last week for the second time in three seasons.

Sandin has 11 assists In 36 games this season.

Forward T.J. Oshie may return in the Capitals’ next game Thursday against the visiting Seattle Kraken, Carbery said. Oshie, who is also dealing with an upper-body injury, has two goals and two assists this season in 21 games.
