Thatcher Demko will be out 2-3 weeks for the Vancouver Canucks with a knee injury, TSN reported Monday.
The 28-year-old goalie leads the NHL with 34 wins (34-13-2) this season and has five shutouts, a 2.47 goals-against average and .917 save percentage.

The Canucks (42-17-7) lead the Western Conference with 91 points. Casey DeSmith will likely be in goal when Vancouver continues a nine-game homestand Wednesday against the Colorado Avalanche.

Thatcher Demko out up to three weeks for Canucks with knee injury
Demko was named the NHL Third Star of the Week on Monday after he was 3-0-0 with a 0.81 GAA and .969 save percentage in wins against the Winnipeg Jets, Vegas Golden Knights and Los Angeles Kings.
A second-round pick in 2014, Demko is in his seventh season with the Canucks and is 115-80-17 with a 2.80 GAA, .912 save percentage and eight shutouts.
DeSmith is 8-4-5 with a 2.85 GAA and .900 save percentage in 19 games (17 starts this season), his first with the Canucks after he played five seasons with the Pittsburgh Penguins. He made 33 starts for the Penguins last season and 30 in 2018-19, so does have starting experience in the NHL.
