Boston Red Sox Early-Season Evaluation

Boston Red Sox Early-Season Evaluation

TC is joined on the podcast today by Joon Lee to talk about the Boston Red Sox. Today we take a look at the 2014 Red Sox early-season so far and discuss the likelihood of them making a repeat trip to the World Series this season. Listen now…

Boston Red Sox Early-Season Evaluation

TC and Joon have found some common ground in their favorite baseball teams. Last year the Red Sox became the first team since the ’91 Minnesota Twins to win the World Series a year after finishing in last place! The guys are taking a look at what it is going to take for the Red Sox to make a repeat trip to the series. Joon tells TC about some problems he sees going on in the bullpen, with the pitch rotation.

TC asks for some insight as to what the team is doing about the crowded outfield now that Shane Victorino has made his return to the team. With a look at the current roster, it appears that they need to get rid of more than a few of those outfielders, because as TC puts it… they all suck!

Joon and TC talk about how trades, and the denial there of, by the MLB commissioner have effected the Red Sox over the last few years. They look at the possibility of the extension of Xander Bogaerts come the end of the season.

Since they are talking about the end of the season, we get Joon’s predictions for who is going to go all the way for the American League East this year. We also get a prediction for a possible recipient of the Golden Glove awards this year! Don’t miss a minute of the action as the season heats up!
