The Boston Celtics acquired guard Josh Richardson from the Dallas Mavericks on Saturday in exchange for center Moses Brown.

Brown’s stint with the Celtics was a short one. The 7-foot-2 center was acquired from the Oklahoma City Thunder as part of a deal featuring Kemba Walker and Al Horford on June 18.

Richardson, who will turn 28 in September, averaged 12.1 points, 3.3 rebounds and 2.6 assists in 59 games last season with Dallas. He has career averages of 12.3 points, 3.2 boards and 2.8 assists in 373 (299 starts) games with the Miami Heat (2015-19), Philadelphia 76ers (2019-20) and Mavericks.

Brown, 21, played 43 games with the Thunder last season. He averaged 8.6 points and 8.9 rebounds in 21.4 minutes per game.
