Josh Gordon could potentially make his New England Patriots debut on Sunday when his new team hosts the Miami Dolphins.

On Friday, head coach Bill Belichick praised Gordon, saying, “Josh is working hard on and off the field. He’s doing everything he can do.”

When asked if he’d be able to play on Sunday, Belichick wouldn’t say one way or another, saying, “We’ll see.”

Earlier this week, offensive coordinator Josh McDaniels mirrored Belichick’s comments with high praise for the work Gordon has been doing to get ready to play.

Tom Brady also chimed in on Friday.

The Patriots certainly could use the talents that Gordon possesses. The last time we saw this team, it was absolutely helpless to make anything happen in the passing game against the Detroit Lions as Brady constantly found his receivers smothered in coverage.
