Britney Taylor, who has accused Antonio Brown of multiple instances of sexual assault, has added three new counts against him.
In a new lawsuit filed in Broward County Circuit Court in Florida, which replaces her previous federal lawsuit, Taylor accuses Brown of assaulting her twice more and added an additional “battery” claim, per court documents obtained by Daniel Wallach of The Athletic.
Wallach also shared a statement issued by Taylor’s attorney about the decision to move the case to State Court: “A strategic decision was made to move the case to State Court as additional counsel has joined Ms. Taylor’s legal team.”
He also shared this information as a reason for the change of venue:
This new lawsuit also includes additional evidence:
The NFL is currently investigating Brown for his alleged conduct against Taylor, along with a second accuser who remains anonymous.
The second accuser alleges that Brown attempted sexual advances toward her and approached her completely naked with nothing more than a small cloth covering his genitals. After her allegations became public, Brown sent intimidating texts to her, which prompted him to be released by the New England Patriots.
The NFL reportedly still has not interviewed Brown in connection with either of these accusations. He is currently not in the league and has gone back to school at Central Michigan University.
