Oakland Raiders quarterback Derek Carr apparently was not correct about his teammate Antonio Brown being ready to participate in practices.
On Saturday, Carr said he didn’t see any reason why Brown couldn’t be a full participant during practices after fully participating in Oakland’s walk-through earlier in the day.
On Sunday, Brown was not on the practice field as the Raiders began their final practice of camp.
One hopes that Brown can get going sooner rather than later for the Raiders. He appeared in only one practice session throughout training camp, thanks to his frostbitten feet.
It’s going to be interesting to see how quickly Carr and Brown can gain the necessary chemistry to thrive when the regular season opens up.
