When Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers was announced as a guest host for the legendary game show “Jeopardy,” it threw many for a loop.

Now that Rodgers’ stint as a guest host is done, the iconic television show will have to choose a full-time replacement for recently passed legendary host Alex Trebek.

That could very well end up being the reigning NFL MVP.

It must be noted that Aaron Rodgers has interest in being a full-time host, as he’s indicated in the recent past. It also would not directly conflict with his football career.

As for Rodgers’ stint as a guest host, “Jeopardy” saw its ratings increase by 14% when he was manning the microphone. This could play a role in the powers that be decision-making process.

On the field, Rodgers apparently is not happy with the direction of the Green Bay Packers and wants to be traded. A childhood fan of the San Francisco 49ers and Northern California native, they just recently put in a call about a potential Rodgers trade.

Interestingly enough, “Jeopardy” is filmed in California. Meanwhile, Rodgers’ new fiancée Shailene Woodley is also a California native.
