The University of Oklahoma announced on Friday that it has moved to online courses for the summer session and has suspended in-person activities through July 31.

If a top-end college football program like Oklahoma can’t even see its football team meet until at least August 1, there’s every reason to believe the start of the college football season will be delayed.
This fits in well with concern among CFB insiders that the 2020 season might in fact have to be canceled.
At this point, no one knows exactly what’s going to happen as it relates to the COVID-19 pandemic. Almost 8,000 Americans have died from the virus as of early Saturday afternoon.
Even if this country were to flatten the curve, there’s concern that a second wave could come during the fall. That leads to even more questions about the 2020 college football season.
