The Denver Broncos landed the steal of Round 1 taking Jerry Jeudy with the 15th overall pick. Then in Round 2, they doubled down on receiver taking Penn State star K.J. Hamler No. 46 overall.
It didn’t take long for quarterback Drew Lock to react on Twitter after seeing his team land two electric offensive weapons.
Yeah, that’s one happy young quarterback.
The Broncos already had one outstanding receiver on the roster ahead of the draft in Courtland Sutton, who meshed quite well with Lock late last season.
Jeudy is arguably the best overall receiver in the 2020 NFL Draft, and he’ll be an instant starter in Denver. Hamler is a bit more raw but has game-breaking speed (watch this) that should be ideal for the big-armed Lock.
