Former Ohio State Buckeyes edge rusher Chase Young is considered by many to be a generational talent. After hearing reports about teams trading up to take quarterbacks with the top-two picks in the 2020 NFL Draft, it seems Young has taken notice and put his arm on display during a workout.
During his preparation for Ohio State’s upcoming Pro Day, Young looked like Patrick Mahomes by slinging a bullet on the run that hit the passing net perfectly.
Speculation started buzzing at the NFL Combine that the Washington Redskins could pass on Young with the No. 2 overall pick and take Tua Tagovailoa in his place. In fact, the team reportedly told Tagovailoa that they aren’t sold on 2019 first-round pick Dwayne Haskins.
Young clearly heard those reports and decided to prove he can do everything on the football field. It would be wise for the Redskins to select him with the No. 2 pick, because talents like this don’t come around very often.
