Report: Ravens sign longtime Broncos DE Derek Wolfe

Derek Wolfe Denver Broncos

The defending AFC North champion Baltimore Ravens are hellbent on a building a bully up front on defense. Mere weeks after acquiring Pro Bowl defensive end Calais Campbell from the Jacksonville Jaguars, Baltimore has pulled off yet another coup.

According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, Baltimore has signed longtime Broncos defensive lineman Derek Wolfe to a one-year, $6 million contract.

Wolfe, 30, played in Denver for eight seasons. The former second-round pick is coming off a 2019 season that saw him record a career high seven sacks. He’s been equally as stout against the run during this time, playing at a near Pro Bowl level pretty much every season.

Baltimore’s front seven is absolutely stacked with Wolfe, Campbell, Matt Judon and youngster Jaylon Ferguson.
