There have been plenty of rumors that the Las Vegas Raiders are itching to sign Tom Brady in free agency. Now one of the team’s stars, offensive tackle Trent Brown, is saying it out loud.
Speaking on the phone with Bill Williamson of Silver and Black Pride, Brown, a former New England Patriots teammate of Brady, made it clear he’s on board with the idea.
“Who wouldn’t?” Brown responded when asked about playing with Brady in a phone interview. “He’s the greatest quarterback of all time.”
Per Williamson, Brown wasn’t trying to bash his current quarterback, Derek Carr, but he’s also very interested in having Brady join him in Las Vegas.
Brady and his family are on vacation as NFL free agency looms next week. He’s said recently that nobody has a clue where he’ll sign in free agency. No doubt, signing with the Raiders as they move into their brand new stadium in Las Vegas would be a huge splash.
