Darren Rovell of The Action Network shared that William Hill is now offering bettors the chance to bet on how many times Astros batters will be hit, with the total opening at 83.5 times.
On the surface, we’d say take the over. The level of animosity for the Astros around the league right now is palpable. The players who participated in the cheating scheme escaped without any discipline at all, and the Astros got to keep the World Series title they “won” while cheating. So, yeah, you’d expect some retaliation.
Though, MLB’s joke of a commissioner, Rob Manfred, has threatened serious measures if the players take matters into their own hands. So, bet on this at your own peril.
