WATCH: Trae Young dominating Celtics, hitting from the logo

Atlanta Hawks guard Trae Young has some range. We knew this when the dude was starring for Oklahoma in college. He’s now upped the ante even more as Young continues to dazzle as a first-time All-Star.

Just ask the Boston Celtics. This kid dropped 17 first quarter points on 6-of-7 shooting. That included a 4-of-5 mark from distance.

How hot was young early on? Well, he nailed a three from the logo. Legitimately.

There’s absolutely no way to guard against that. How do you even play defense when a dude is on the court nailing from 36 feet out?

Young, 21, entered Monday’s game against Boston averaging 30.3 points and 12.8 assists in his past six outings. That seems good.
