Things are not going too swimmingly for the Philadelphia 76ers these days. Head coach Brett Brown appears to be on the hot seat. Ben Simmons continues to struggle expanding his game. Philadelphia can’t win on the road.
Some of that seemed to be solved during Philadelphia’s 118-111 home win over the Chicago Bulls Sunday evening.
That’s until All-Star center Joel Embiid trolled his own Sixers fans inside Wells Fargo Center after hitting a dagger three-pointer.
Ouch. It’s not too hard to understand what Embiid told Sixers fans as he came down the court following the three-pointer. Not great.
Philly fans booed Embiid and others during pregame introductions earlier this season after they returned from a 0-4 roadtrip.
By virtue of their win Sunday evening, the Sixers moved to 24-2 at home. They are just 9-19 away from Philly.
