Two weeks have passed since Kobe Bryant died at the age of 41 in a helicopter accident that also claimed the lives of his daughter, Gianna, and seven others.
Needless to say, the sports community is still having a hard time processing Bryant’s tragic death.
But it’s not just about the sports world. Those in Hollywood are paying tribute to Bryant ahead of the Academy Awards, one year after he won an Oscar.
That includes legendary director Spike Lee, who showed up to the award show sporting an awesome custom-made Bryant suit.
Check this thing out.
A known New York Knicks fan and a native of the south, Lee paying homage to Kobe shows us just how much the future Hall of Famer meant to pretty much every basketball fan.
The suit itself is also legit.
Good stuff here, Mr. Lee.
