While the Dallas Cowboys might not be returning Dez Bryant’s texts, Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes did. Bryant and the Super Bowl LIV MVP are working out together on Friday in Texas with Mahomes slinging pass and the former Pro Bowl receiver hauling them in with ease.
The 31-year-old receiver has been pleading on social media for the Cowboys to bring him back, but Jerry Jones and the front office are focused on re-signing Dak Prescott and Amari Cooper. So, Bryant continues to work out in Texas and Mahomes joined him for Friday’s workout in Fort Worth.
Mahomes made sure to enjoy this time celebrating a Super Bowl victory, including with a trip to Las Vegas, but the star quarterback is now back to work at bettering himself for the upcoming season. If the Cowboys don’t show enough interest in Bryant and Mahomes feels a connection with the three-time Pro Bowl receiver, perhaps Kansas City could be a landing spot for Bryant.
