Zion WIlliamson expected to make NBA debut on Jan. 22

Zion Williamson

Zion Williamson is set to make his NBA debut on Jan. 22. New Orleans Pelicans vice president David Griffin announced the much-anticipated news on Wednesday.

Williamson, who has missed more than 40 games recovering from knee surgery, is expected to make his NBA debut against the San Antonio Spurs in the Smoothie King Center next Wednesday.

The No. 1 overall pick started to show tremendous signs of improvement in recent weeks, even putting his talent on display with this ridiculous dunk during warmups.

Williamson’s debut will obviously come with some limitations as the team works to ease him back into action. Pelicans head coach Alvin Gentry indicated the team would put the star rookie on a minutes restriction upon his return.

Finally, the most hyped and followed prospect since LeBron James will make his NBA debut. After everything we saw him do in college, we can’t wait to see what Williamson does in the NBA.
