New Orleans Pelicans rookie Zion Williamson may not be ready to play just yet, but after watching what he did in pre-game warmups Friday, it’s clear he’s getting close.

Now we know why the Pelicans “fully anticipate” that Williamson will be playing at some point this season.
Since hurting his knee before the season, the rookie out of Duke has been a disappointment to fans eager to see him play at the NBA level. When he does finally suit up this season, he’ll be on a minutes restriction for a while.
Hopefully, we’ll all be treated to a fully functional Zion Williamson without any restrictions sooner, rather than later.
