Philadelphia Eagles backup quarterback Josh McCown was pressed into action during Sunday’s NFC Wildcard game against the Seattle Seahawks after Carson Wentz suffered an injury.
Despite a valiant effort from the 40-year-old quarterback in his playoff debut, the injury-plagued Eagles lost by the score of 17-9.
Following what might have been his final game, McCown was seen limping to the locker room. It sure the heck looks like he played the end of the game with a lower-body injury. Check it out here.
McCown also showed a ton of emotion in meeting up with fellow injured Eagles player Zach Ertz after the game.
In reality, the Eagles had no business winning the NFC East with the plethora of injuries the team has suffered through.
Seeing their only able quarterback depart Lincoln Financial Field with an injury in their final game of the season was the typical way for this thing to end for the Eagles.
