NBA world reacts to emotional pregame Kobe Bryant ceremony at Staples Center

What an emotional scene at Staples Center Friday night for the Los Angeles Lakers’ first game back on the court since Kobe Bryant and his daughter Gianna passed away.

Before the game began, Lakers players warmed up wearing Kobe’s No. 8 and No. 24 jerseys.

As players warmed up, Gianna’s teammates sat in the front row to honor her memory and be part of this incredibly moving ceremony.

Right before Usher sang “Amazing Grace,” the crowd shared its appreciation by chanting “Kobe!” and “Gigi!”

Emotions were running high, both in the stands and on the court as the Lakers prepared to play.

And the tribute to Kobe was spectacular.
