Luka Doncic had another monster game Wednesday night as the Dallas Mavericks beat the Sacramento Kings, and he made more NBA history in the process.
The 20-year-old second-year phenom racked up 25 points, 15 rebounds and 17 assists. With that stat line, he became the youngest player in league history to put up 20-plus points, along with 15-plus rebounds and assists in a single game, per Elias Sports.
Doncic had a brilliant rookie campaign, averaging 21.2 points, 7.8 rebounds, and 6.0 assists per game while earning the NBA Rookie of the Year honors for the 2018-19 season.
This year, he’s upping his game even more when he’s not ripping his jersey, a la Hulk Hogan. Doncic has been setting NBA records seemingly left and right in his second year, and at this point there’s a realistic chance he will win NBA MVP when he’s all done this season.
