Fresh off a win over Baylor in the Sugar Bowl and a likely top-four finish this season, Georgia Bulldogs quarterback Jake Fromm has come to the conclusion he has nothing left to prove at the college level.
Fromm took to social media on Wednesday to announce that he is forgoing his senior season in Athens and will enter the 2020 NFL Draft.
This is in no way a surprising development. The 6-foot-2 Fromm is seen as a potential late first-round pick in April.
He’s the prototypical quarterback teams seem to fall in love with during the pre-draft process.
A former top recruit from Warner Robins in Georgia, Fromm finishes his college career having put up 8,236 passing yards to go with 78 touchdowns and 18 interceptions.
While we don’t have Fromm mocked in Round 1, there’s a chance he will go somewhere late on Day 1.
