Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Andy Dalton regained his starting job here over the past couple weeks.
We’re not exactly too sure why. That came out in droves Sunday against an elite level Patriots defense.
Already down 20-10 midway through the third quarter and having thrown an interception earlier in the game, Dalton was victimized by stud Patriots corner Stephon Gilmore on this 64-yard interception return for a touchdown.
We’re honestly not too sure what Dalton was doing here. Throwing late and to the outside is a turnover waiting to happen.
This represented Gilmore’s second pick of the game and the second consecutive week that he’s scored on an interception. Maybe stop throwing to his side. Just a thought.
