It’s been a frustrating season for New Orleans Saints running back Alvin Kamara. After missing time with an ankle injury then experiencing a prolonged touchdown drought, the star running back returned to the end zone in style on Sunday.

Coming right out of the halftime break, the Saints put the ball in Kamara’s hands, hoping the big play would come. He delivered, exploding through the hole and sprinting to the end zone for his first touchdown since Week 3.

The 40-yard touchdown is great news for many. New Orleans needed a go-ahead score on Sunday, which Kamara provided. Meanwhile, he showed he still has the big-play ability and fantasy owners are celebrating the moment in the fantasy championship.

The big run could be just the momentum Kamara needs to start running with more confidence. If he can make more plays like this, the Saints’ offense becomes even more dangerous heading into the playoffs.
