The Dallas Mavericks might be getting star guard and MVP candidate Luka Doncic back on the court after the holiday.
Mavs head coach Rick Carlisle noted on Tuesday that Doncic practiced in full and “things are looking better and better.”
Doncic has missed the past four games with an ankle injury he suffered back on Dec. 14. Dallas was just 2-2 in the four games Doncic missed.
The star youngster is averaging 29.3 points, 9.6 rebounds and 8.9 assists thus far this season. His eventual return will only help the Mavs get out of their current minor funk.
Whether that means Doncic will be on the court Thursday against the in-state rival San Antonio Spurs remains to be seen.
