After Leonard played a pivotal role in bringing a championship to Toronto and helping change the organization forever, the Raptors raised the bar even more.
After releasing a touching video tribute on Tuesday, the team placed two billboards in the city, including at Scotiabank Arena, thanking Leonard with billboards that perfectly captured his personality.
Even just one year in Toronto had a profound impact on the city, the Raptors’ organization, fan base and Leonard. It’s going to be a special moment when he’s introduced to the crowd on Wednesday night and it should be a very warm and supportive reception.
