Before Los Angeles Clippers forward Kawhi Leonard makes his return to Scotiabank Arena on Wednesday, the Toronto Raptors released a touching video tribute to honor his return.

The one-minute video, which captures moments from the beginning of Leonard’s one-year stint in Toronto to the city’s championship celebration after he helped win the NBA Finals, perfectly captures all he meant to the fans and the organization.

It’s incredible to see how much Leonard’s single year in Toronto meant to everyone in Canada. While the Raptors might not have been able to bring the star forward back in free agency, he brought an NBA championship to the country and the Raptors are still contenders in the conference this season.

We can’t wait to see the reception he gets on Wednesday night when he steps onto the court and is announced in front of a sold-out crowd.
