Weird things happening at Nationals Park for wild-card game

Washington Nationals ace Max Scherzer gave up a homer in each of the first two innings of the NL Wild Card Game against the Milwaukee Brewers Tuesday.

This caught a lot of people by surprise. But it wasn’t the only weird thing taking place at Nationals Park in D.C. A whole bunch of strange took place about a month before Halloween.

It started with the fire alarm going off in the press box.

That was followed by sirens throughout the stadium.

Then the PA system went down.

Despite all of this, the Presidents Race took place and the game continued.

The good news? Everything seems to be perfectly fine at the old ball stadium.

One has to wonder if the first playoff game of October around the MLB world is going to be a representation of what’s to follow.
