The Houston Texans had been waiting all seasons for everything to click on offense. A matchup against the Atlanta Falcons came at the perfect time and Deshaun Watson took advantage with an insane performance.
After finding wide receiver Will Fuller for big plays all game, the duo connected one last time to close it out. Fuller got creative on his short route by sneaking down the field and Watson hit him in stride for the game-sealing score.
The final connection between Watson and Fuller capped up two jaw-dropping performances by both players. Watson completed 28-of-33 passes for 426 yards and five touchdowns with a perfect 158.3 quarterback rating. Meanwhile, Fuller hauled in three scores with a career-high 217 receiving yards.
Houston will now ride into its Week 6 matchup against the Kansas City Chiefs with a lot of confidence in its offense. It figures to be a high-scoring affair that football fans won’t want to miss.
