CFB world reacts to Illinois’ stunning upset over No. 6 Wisconsin

The Illinois Fighting Illini knocked off No. 6 Wisconsin, 24-23, thanks to a last-second field goal in the most stunning upset of the 2019 season so far.

Wisconsin clung to a 23-21 lead late in the fourth quarter, and then Jack Coan threw a stunning interception to give Illinois new life.

The Illini marched down the field, and with four seconds left, kicker James McCourt drilled the game-winning field goal.

Wisconsin was a massive favorite to win this game, and that’s not surprising at all given the team’s run until Saturday’s shocking loss.

This stunning upset had the college football world in an uproar.
