This Chicago Bears were without quarterback Mitchell Trubisky for their Week 5 game against the Oakland Raiders. The former top-three pick suffered a shoulder injury in the previous game.
It did not go swimmingly with Chase Daniel under center in London. Chicago lost to the Raiders to move to 3-2 on the season.
Fortunately for the Bears, it looks like they will have Trubisky for Sunday’s game against the New Orleans Saints.
While Trubisky has regressed as a third-year player, it’s rather obvious that he’s better than Daniel under center. He’s 14-4 as a starting quarterback since the start of last season.
Chicago will look to remain relevant in an NFC North that consists of the Green Bay Packers (5-1) and Minnesota Vikings (4-2). It will be doing so against another top-end NFC team in that of the 5-1 Saints.
