It didn’t take long for prized offseason acquisition Le’Veon Bell to find the end zone as a member of the New York Jets.
With New York up 8-0 in the third quarter, Bell hauled in a low pass from Sam Darnold and went into the end zone for a nine-yard touchdown reception.
Darnold and Bell connected again to convert the two-point conversion.
That will make fantasy players happy.
It was Bell’s first touchdown since January of 2018, when he scored in the Pittsburgh Steelers AFC Divisional Round loss to the Jacksonville Jaguars. Bell’s last regular season score came in a Week 16 win over the Houston Texans on Christmas Day, 2017.
