Well, that didn’t last too long. After opening eyes during the offseason and training camp, former West Virginia wide receiver Gary Jennings is out of a job.
ESPN’s Adam Schefter is reporting that the Seattle Seahawks have waived the rookie fourth-round pick.
The 6-foot-1 receiver didn’t see action in any of Seattle’s first three regular season games. It’s not too often we see a team move on from such a valuable mid-round pick this early in his career.
Jennings was waived to make room for former San Francisco 49ers seventh-round pick, safety Adrian Colbert.
