The Dallas Cowboys have a ton of depth along the defensive line. That’s one of the primary reasons third-year defensive end Taco Charlton was inactive for the team’s regular season opener against the New York Giants.
It could also potentially lead to Dallas trading the former first-round bust at some point soon.
A product of Michigan, Charlton just has not panned out since Dallas made him the No. 28 overall pick back in 2017.
The 24-year-old has recorded a combined four sacks in 27 career regular season games. It remains to be seen if any team will show interest in the under-performing pass rusher moving forward.
