Colts safety Malik Hooker out 4-6 weeks with torn meniscus, per report

Indianapolis Colts rookie safety Malik Hooker

The Indianapolis Colts will be without star safety Malik Hooker for the next month plus with a torn meniscus in his knee, per ESPN’s Adam Schefter.

This is a huge blow to Indianapolis’ secondary. Hooker, selected with the 15th overall pick of the 2017 NFL Draft, is a phenomenal free safety. He had five interceptions in his first two seasons, even after missing much of his rookie campaign with a knee injury.

Already in 2019, Hooker has an interception, along with 10 tackles, for the Colts.
