Welcome to the Antonio Brown show. It’s been all about the Pro Bowl receiver in Northern California and around the broader NFL this summer.
That’s not changing any time soon. According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, Brown has filed yet another grievance against the NFL in an attempt to be able to wear the same helmet he donned during his Pittsburgh Steelers days.
This is not a drill. It comes just a little over a week after Brown initially filed a grievance against the league. Said grievance failed.
Since then, Brown has reportedly contemplated retirement and remained away from Raiders camp. While he did return on Monday, Oakland general manager Mike Mayock seems to be running out of patience.
Brown has been nothing but a headache since he joined the Raiders in an offseason trade with Pittsburgh. This latest bit of information likely does nothing to change that.
