Los Angeles Angels star outfielder Mike Trout is using some of his new-found riches to set himself up nicely in Southern California.
Mere months after inking a record-breaking 12-year, $426.5 million extension, the AL’s top MVP candidate just purchased a mansion in the Newport Beach part of Southern California.
According to The Orange County Register, Trout doled out $9.15 million for the 9,000-square-foot “English Tudor-style mansion.”
The property includes a basement that features a family room with fireplace, full bar, wine cellar and a sauna. The top story includes four bedroom suites, an office and a wet bar.
If that weren’t enough, the backyard provides sweeping views of the Pacific Ocean, a pool, spa, covered lanai and a built-in BBQ.
The place itself is absolutely stunning.
As the game’s best player, Trout more than deserves to live in style. Good for him.
