Bruce Arians and Andrew Luck have a close relationship stemming from their shared time together with the Indianapolis Colts. So, it’s not surprising that Arians took exception to the Colts fans who booed Luck off the field Saturday night.

Speaking with the media Sunday, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers head coach was asked what he’d say to those fans. His response was perfect: “I couldn’t put that in the press.”

No doubt, Arians would have a passionate response laced with colorful language, if he did say what he wanted to say.

It’s understandable that Colts fans would have high emotions to the Luck retirement news. But the actions of those who did boo Luck off the field after that news broke Saturday night is inexcusable, and indefensible.
