LOOK: Braves star predicts World Series matchup with Yankees

Aaron Doster-USA TODAY Sports

The young Atlanta Braves are doing something right this season. Led by the likes of Ronald Acuna Jr., Atlanta heads into Thursday’s action with a 60-43 record and in first place in the NL East.

Over in the American League, fellow young star Gleyber Torres and the New York Yankees boast a league-best 66-35 record and are running away with things back east.

Could this be a potential World Series matchup? If we were to ask Mr. Acuna, the answer to that question would be a resounding yes.

That’s all fine and dandy, but we’re pretty sure the two-time defending NL champion Los Angeles Dodgers might have something to say about this. They currently boast an NL-best 67-37 record.

Over in the American League, the Houston Astros and Minnesota Twins seem to be New York’s biggest competition. Though, the Oakland Athletics might have something to say about it, too.

Buckle up, the final two-plus months of the season is going to be a blast.
