Dallas Cowboys running back Ezekiel Elliott is officially a hold out. With the team reporting to camp on Friday, the Pro Bowler did not show up.
While this was expected, the Cowboys made it official by placing Elliott on the reserve/did not report list.
This means Elliott will be fined for every day he misses camp.
It’s long been anticipated that Elliott would not report as he’s looking for a new contract that will make him the highest-paid running back in NFL history.
It also remains to be seen just how long this holdout will last. It’s certainly something to watch during camp.
